As we enter spring, I know many of you are preparing your boats for an early launch. Let's make it another banner year! A grateful thanks to all for your participation and continued support. We have a new Commodore this year, Robert D. Cummings & First Lady Nancy. Bob and Nancy have some energetic ideas for '08-'09. Bob is a gifted administrator, as is Nancy. I'm looking forward to Bob's tour and your 100% support of Bob's direction for LVYC. We have some nice activities planned for the '08 season. Please take a moment to review our schedule of events. We are open for additional suggestions and ideas. Our first scheduled event is our Opening Day/Annual Wine and Cheese Party on May 24. This is an open affair to members and non-members. Participants are asked to bring a tray (to share) and their favorite beverage. We will have a short general meeting and Memorial ceremony to honor our Veterans.
